Video Archive

From the beginning of Wings Across America, video has been our medium of choice, not only to record the histories of the individual WASP, but to share the history online. We were also given the opportunity write articles for different publications and to be interviewed

From 1999 to 2007, we continued our interviews, saving our tapes and praying  that someday, technology would catch up and the WASP stories would be  available to anyone in the world 24-7.  Thanks to the Baylor Oral History Institute,  THAT prayer has been answered!

In the early days of the Internet, the shorter projects were best, because of download challenges.

Today,  Baylor is able  to archive ALL of the interviews.     Additional video project from short clips to power point video presentations to speeches are being archived here.  They represent the journey of Wings Across America and what we were able to accomplish.

We continued our interviews, saving our tapes and praying  that someday, technology would catch up and the WASP stories would be  available to anyone in the world 24-7.   THAT prayer has been answered!  And the WASP Interviews?  Take a look and watch that sparkle you see in the eyes of the WASP.  It happens when they share their wonderful stories of flying.
